| Freely For You
(copyright 2004 - Chuck Stevens) ccli#4478960
This song has been used at my home parish and the
seminary as a communion hymn, and at retreats as
a reflection. You can listen with your eyes closed,
meditate on the Lord, use it as a prayer-song, or
add your own harmonies as you sing along.
Whatever you do, hopefully some sense of His
presence will be yours through this particular song.

| In Your Presence
(copyright 2004 - Chuck Stevens) ccli#4478915
During a year-end retreat, I was inspired to write
this song, a song which would start this whole
other dimension to my music ministry. It brings
with it a message that we are all, as Christians,
called to recognize; that in committing the least
act of charity to another human being, we are
doing it to Jesus. As long as we commit these acts
in the right frame of mind and heart, being
Christ-centred, then we are also bringing Christ
to others and are standing in His very presence.
| Praise the Lord (Psalm 147)

Inspired by Psalm 147, this song, written on retreat,
speaks of the power, greatness and majesty of God. It is good to stand back and think in awe of the
wonder of God;the bounty of gifts that every human being has received from God; the realization of
God in our midst.

The Jesus prayer dates back to the 5th century. This
is my adaptation of the words, set to my music. The
prayer is repeated as long as needed, to help reflect,
contemplate, and feel the peaceful presence of Our
| A Harvest of Love

In thanksgiving to our great God, I wanted to give
something to everyone on the occasion of my
ordination to the permanent diaconate. Truly we
should be thankful and share as God has given us
everything that we have to share and be thankful
for - especially during the season of the harvest!
